Zendesk Hackathon 2025

Zendesk had been experiencing fragmented brand and product design due to leadership changes, a 2025 brand reset, and siloed teams. As a relatively new employee (3mos) I saw an opportunity during the annual company hackathon to try and reunite design teams to realign brand and product experiences.
The goals were to:
• Update key resources, surfaces, and assets to meet baseline needs
• Explore opportunities for deeper brand-product collaboration
Brand consistency is directly tied to revenue — consistent brand presentation can drive up to 23% revenue growth.
I formed and led this team effort to fix design fragmentation, restore brand cohesion, and unlock the business value that comes when product and brand work in sync. I presented the results during the hackathon and to creative leadership.
The results:
• accelerated UI design updates
• increased dialogue between teams
• improved brand experience
